We are seeking caring, resilient, and motivated individuals to join our team as a Children's Residential Support Worker. This rewarding role involves providing high-quality care and support within a residential home, helping young people feel safe, valued, and supported to achieve positive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Build positive relationships with children and young people.
- Support daily routines, education, and personal development.
- Promote emotional wellbeing, independence, and positive behaviour.
- Participate in social, recreational, and community activities.
- Act as a Key Worker and contribute to care planning and record keeping.
- Work closely with colleagues, families, and external professionals.
- Transport young people to school, appointments, and activities when required.
- Experience working with children and young people.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A positive, caring, and resilient approach.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Flexibility to work days and waking nights.
- Level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young People's Workforce (or willingness to achieve).
- Previous residential childcare or care experience.
