We are working with a supportive and inclusive SEMH provision in Stockport that is looking for compassionate, resilient, and committed individuals to join their team and make a genuine difference to the lives of young people. The pupils you will support may experience anxiety, ADHD, trauma, attachment difficulties, emotional dysregulation, low self-esteem, and behaviours that challenge. Many have faced significant barriers both inside and outside of education and require adults who are patient, consistent, understanding, and willing to see the person behind the behaviour. The Role As a Youth Mentor, you will provide personalised one-to-one and small-group support, helping pupils develop confidence, emotional resilience, positive behaviours, and the skills they need to engage successfully with education.
