As a Youth Engagement Mentor , you aren''t just a tutor; you are a lifeline. You will work one-on-one with students who are persistently absent or excluded from school, including those with SEND, SEMH challenges , or complex barriers to learning. Your mission is to build a "re-engagement bridge," guiding students from total isolation back into a stable learning environment, college, or vocational pathway. The Role: Impact Beyond the Classroom Your daily "to-do" list is rarely linear. You will focus on three pillars: Stability, Skill-building, and Advocacy. Relationship Building & Wellbeing: Meet the young person where they are-sometimes literally at their front door-to build trust.
