The school are dedicated to maintaining a supportive, nurturing environment where students can express themselves freely and receive the support they need. Students attending the school are aged 11-14 year olds and face challenges regarding social, emotional and mental health needs. The Youth Mental Health Advocate role is a crucial position within the school''s community.Main Responsibilities of a Youth Mental Health Advocate: Using positive reinforcement techniques to encourage studentsCreate a safe environment for students to speak freely Collaborate with educational psychologists to tailor learning plansImplement therapeutic techniques Encourage independence and self-investigation1-1 based support and interventions The school are excited to welcome a Youth Mental Health Advocate to improve their students'' quality of education.
