Probation Officer (Youth Justice Service)Elmwood Place Hybrid Working - Full Time - 37 Hours per Week - Up to 6 Month Contract - Enhanced DBS RequiredOpus People Solutions are recruiting on behalf of our client for a qualified Probation Officer to join a supportive Youth Justice Service on a temporary contract for up to six months.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Probation Officer looking for a varied role within a collaborative team environment. Whilst experience within Youth Justice is desirable, we welcome applications from qualified Probation Officers with experience gained within adult probation services.Working as part of a dedicated team of approximately 25 professionals, you will receive regular supervision, weekly check-ins and ongoing support to ensure you are fully equipped to succeed in the role.The RoleYou will undertake the full range of offender management responsibilities for young people on probation, including assessments, sentence implementation, report writing and risk management.The position is primarily based at Elmwood Place, with a minimum of two office-based days per week. The remainder of your time will be spent attending court, conducting visits and working with partner agencies across the community.Key ResponsibilitiesManaging a caseload of young people on probation.Completing assessments and sentence plans using OASys.Producing high quality reports for criminal courts and partner agencies.Assessing and managing risk to ..... full job details .....
