Youth Justice Officer

We are looking to recruit a Youth Justice Officer in the Youth Justice Team within Islington. London Borough of Islington ensure that their workers have as much support as possible, helping them to keep a really good work life balance!The responsibilities of the Youth Justice Officer includes: Prepare high-quality Pre-Sentence Reports (PSR), Referral Order and Breach Reports for courtUndertake detailed assessments using AssetPlus to inform intervention and risk management plansDeliver structured and sequenced interventions to reduce reoffending and manage risk of harmMonitor and manage risk and safeguarding concerns, ensuring appropriate action and escalationWork in close partnership with statutory and voluntary agencies to achieve positive outcomesSupport young people to access education, training, and employment opportunitiesContribute to team meetings, service development, and continuous improvement initiativesEnsure accurate and timely recording and reporting in line with statutory requirements The ideal candidate will have: Eligibility to work in the UKPrevious Youth Justice experiencePreferably a Qualified Social Worker or Probation Officer Working with Ackerman Pierce you will be ..... full job details .....
