Young Person Support Worker Role Type: Temporary 6-8 weeks Salary: £13.55 per hour PAYE + £1.55 per hour holiday pay Hours: 37.5 hrs per week Flexible between 8am-6pm Mon-Fri (30hrs contract available) Location: Cullompton, Mid Devon About the Role: We are looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic, and compassionate Young Persons Support Worker to join our Supported Housing Team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about making a positive difference to the lives of young people and supporting them to achieve independence, stability, and their personal goals. Working within a supported accommodation setting, you will build positive and trusting relationships with young people, providing tailored support that helps them develop confidence, life skills, and the tools needed to move towards independent living. You will take a person-centred and strengths-based approach, supporting individuals to recognise their abilities, overcome barriers, and create positive change. Key Responsibilities: Supporting Young People: Build professional, respectful, and trusting relationships with young people, creating a safe and welcoming environment. Work alongside individuals to understand their aspirations, strengths, goals, and support needs. Provide tailored one-to-one support through effective support planning and regular reviews.
