Who we are Adoption UK is the leading charity providing support, community, and advocacy for all those parenting or supporting children who cannot live with their birth parents.Our vision is for an equal chance of a bright future for every child unable to live with their birth parents. Connected offers monthly activity groups, digital sessions, one-to-one support and family days for adopted children and young people between 7 and 25 across Wales, to name just a few. The group offers a space for children and young people to come together with others who are adopted, to feel safe, be themselves, make connections and have fun. What you''ll be doing Working 18.5 hours a week (some evenings and 1 or 2 weekends a month) you will have an exciting opportunity to lead the development, delivery and promotion of Young People Service across North Wales, whilst also ensuring adopted young people and their families understand how to access the adoption support services available. You will Deliver in person monthly activity groups for adopted children and young people across the North Wales area and assist with facilitation of an online youth council. Support with Family days Lead on the processing of referrals and initial engagement with young people and their parents. Deliver an annual programme of group sessions and activities.
