Young People Support Worker We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to support young people in Sutton to build brighter, more independent futures.Position: Young People Support WorkerLocation: SuttonSalary: £16,581.79 actual salaryHours: 22.5 hours per week on a rota including early, late and weekend shiftsContract: Permanent, Part TimeClosing Date: Tuesday 21st October 2025About the RoleThis role supports young people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness within supported accommodation. You ll work directly with residents to help them develop the skills and confidence to live independently and move on positively from support services.Key responsibilities:Deliver person-centred support to young people aged Create and review support and risk management plansHelp residents access training, education, work or volunteeringPromote engagement and involvement in decision-makingManage day-to-day housing responsibilities such as rent collection and safety checksLiaise with external agencies to ensure joined-up supportKeep accurate case notes, reports and logsMaintain a safe, welcoming and inclusive environmentAbout YouYou ll be a motivated, empathetic and organised individual who thrives on helping young people achieve independence.
