Night Worker - Young LivesLocation: WeymouthSalary: £26,899pa + £1,500 Night allowance FTE (salary will be pro-rated for part time)Permanent, Part Time (2 positions available 1 x 20 hour per week and 1 x 30 hour per week)The first suitable applicant will be appointed.YOU is a registered charity that has been providing care, support and advice for over 30 years to vulnerable people, working across Hampshire, Dorset, West Sussex, Wiltshire, Somerset and the Isle of Wight to give them the tools and resources they need to live independent, secure and valued lives. We also maintain an in-house pool of sessional workers, which we refer to as the ''Premier Crew''.Essential Requirements:The ideal night support worker will haveWorking Knowledge of Ofsted frameworkHealth and social care qualification or equivalent to NVQ level 3 or equivalent work level experienceIn depth knowledge of support planning and risk managementAn understanding of housing related support and homelessness legislation for vulnerable young peopleIn depth knowledge of safeguarding Children and AdultsExperience of working with young people in a trauma informed care environmentProficient in using computers to perform daily operational/administrative tasks and writing reportsBe passionate about working with young peopleThe Role:The Night Support Worker plays a key role in supporting young people to develop independent living skills and achieve positive outcomes.
