YMCA Ireland - Workforce Development and Training Manager
Responsible for: Workforce Development Location: Flexible / multi-site (with national travel, particularly across Northern Ireland) Hours: 35 hours per week (5 days) Salary: YMCA Scale 3 - £40,059 plus 5% pension contribution Contract Fixed-term for an initial period of 24 months, with a strong intention to extend subject to continued funding. YMCA Ireland is committed to the long-term development of this role as part of its national workforce strategy. Interview Date: Wednesday 29th July 2026 Role Purpose As a member of the national team, the YMCA Ireland Workforce Development and Training Manager will lead the strategic design, coordination, and delivery of workforce development and training across YMCA Ireland. This role will build organisational capacity, strengthen professional practice, and position YMCA Ireland as a leader in workforce development within the youth and community sector. The postholder will drive innovation in training delivery, ensure high standards in accredited provision, and develop sustainable, income-generating training opportunities. The role will maximise the use of digital learning platforms, including BrightHR, to support consistent, scalable, and high-quality workforce development.
