Year End Accountant Location: East Midlands, Nottinghamshire, NottinghamJob Type: TemporaryHours: Expected to work full-time hours (to be confirmed)Salary: £350 per dayJob Description The Year End Accountant is responsible for preparing and finalising the company s annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards and company policies. This role involves performing detailed reconciliations, ensuring the accuracy of financial data, and supporting the audit process. The post holder works closely with finance teams to gather relevant information, identify discrepancies, and provide clear financial reports to management within agreed deadlines.Job Duties Prepare and complete year end accounts and financial statements in compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.Perform detailed account reconciliations, including balance sheet reconciliations, to ensure data accuracy.Review and post adjusting journal entries necessary to correct financial records.Assist with the preparation of schedules and supporting documentation for external audits.Analyse financial information to identify trends, anomalies, or potential issues requiring management attention.Collaborate with other members of the finance team to gather and verify financial data.Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies throughout the year end process.Provide clear and timely communication to management regarding the status of year end ..... full job details .....
