Are you a flexible and passionate Key Stage 2 teacher looking for your next exciting opportunity£ We are currently working with a large, supportive primary school in Gillingham that are seeking a committed Year 6 teacher to join their team from June 2025 on a full-time supply basis until at least Christmas.

This role is perfect for a teacher who is adaptable, resilient, and eager to join a school with a collaborative and caring staff team, no matter where you are in your teaching career.

About the Role:

Due to school growth and a focus on providing smaller class sizes and personalised support, the school is introducing a new Year 6 class. You''ll be stepping into a well-resourced environment, delivering engaging and inspiring lessons, with planning support provided by the existing Year 6 team.

What Youandrsquo;ll Be Doing:

• Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons tailored to Year 6 learners
• Support pupils in preparing for their transition to secondary school
• Foster a positive classroom environment with clear expectations
• Adapt and personalise planning already in place
• Monitor and support pupil progress across all areas
• Work collaboratively with the wider KS2 team

What Weandrsquo;re Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) andndash; Essential
• Experience in Key Stage 2, ideally with Year 6
• Confidence in managing behaviour and supporting varied learning needs
• Strong understanding of the National Curriculum
• A flexible, proactive mindset andndash; ready to jump in and make an impact
• A genuine passion for helping pupils reach their full potential
