Year 6 Teacher

We are currently recruiting a dedicated and experienced Year 6 Teacher on behalf of a supportive primary school. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated teacher who is confident teaching Upper Key Stage 2 and supporting pupils through a crucial stage of their education, including SATs preparation.The Role:Teaching a Year 6 class in line with the National CurriculumPlanning and delivering engaging and challenging lessonsPreparing pupils for KS2 SATs and supporting academic progressAssessing, tracking and reporting pupil attainment and progressProviding pastoral support and promoting pupil well beingWorking collaboratively with colleagues, parents and senior leadersThe Ideal Candidate:Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (ECTs welcome, with support)Has experience teaching Upper Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6Has a strong understanding of KS2 curriculum and SATs requirementsDemonstrates excellent classroom and behaviour management skillsHolds or is willing to obtain an enhanced DBS on the update service All candidates who register with Simply Education are required to provide references for the previous 2 years of work, as well as complete an enhanced DBS check.
