Year 6 Teacher - Scunthorpe Full-Time Long-Term Position September 2026 Start From £140 per day A primary school in Scunthorpe is seeking an experienced and motivated Year 6 Teacher to join their team from September 2026 on a full-time, long-term basis. This role is ideal for a teacher who can confidently support pupils through their final year of primary education, helping them achieve their full potential both academically and personally. The successful candidate will have experience preparing pupils for Key Stage 2 SATs and delivering targeted interventions to raise attainment. Responsibilities Teach a Year 6 class and deliver the Key Stage 2 curriculum effectively Prepare pupils for SATs through engaging and structured lessons Identify gaps in learning and implement appropriate support strategies Track progress and use assessment data to inform teaching Maintain high expectations of behaviour and achievement Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff Foster a positive and motivating classroom environment The Successful Applicant Will Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Previous experience teaching Year 6 or upper Key Stage 2 A proven track record of supporting pupils through SATs Strong behaviour management skills Experience supporting pupils with SEN Excellent organisational and communication skills A commitment to achieving the best outcomes for all learners What We Offer Competitive daily pay from £140 per day A long-term, full-time teaching ..... full job details .....
