Experienced Year 6 Teacher - Doncaster September 2026 Start Full-Time Long-Term Opportunity Daily Rate from £140 We are recruiting on behalf of a primary school in Doncaster looking to appoint a dedicated Year 6 Teacher for a long-term role commencing in September 2026. The school is seeking a teacher who thrives in upper Key Stage 2 and understands the importance of preparing pupils for the transition into secondary education. Experience delivering effective SATs preparation and intervention programmes is essential. About the Role As the Year 6 class teacher, you will: Deliver engaging lessons that challenge and inspire learners Support pupils in preparation for Key Stage 2 SATs assessments Use assessment data to monitor progress and target support where needed Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils Provide additional support for children with SEN Establish clear expectations and strong classroom routines Contribute to the wider life of the school Person Specification The ideal candidate will: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Have experience teaching Year 6 or upper KS2 classes Demonstrate success in preparing pupils for SATs Possess excellent classroom and behaviour management skills Have a strong understanding of SEN and inclusive practice Be resilient, organised and committed to pupil achievement Build positive working relationships with pupils, families and colleagues Why Apply?
