Year 6 Teacher

Are you an experienced and motivated Year 6 Teacher looking for flexible supply work? We are seeking a confident and enthusiastic teacher to join a welcoming primary school on a temporary supply basis.

This role offers the opportunity to make a real impact in a Year 6 classroom, supporting pupils through a crucial stage of their education and helping them prepare for SATs and their transition to secondary school.

The Role

As a Year 6 Supply Teacher, you will:

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum.
• Support pupils in their preparation for SATs assessments.
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement.
• Assess pupil progress and provide feedback where required.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Work collaboratively with school staff to ensure continuity of learning.

Requirements

Applicants must:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Have recent experience teaching within Key Stage 2.
• Ideally have Year 6 teaching experience.
• Demonstrate strong classroom management skills.
• Be adaptable, reliable and able to hit the ground running.
• Have an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one.
