Year 6 teacher

One of my primary schools in West Leeds have a requirement for a year 6 teacher to commence after Easter. The Year 6 teacher position is until the end of the academic year. This is a large 2 form school with children from various backgrounds and any experience teaching EAL and SEND pupils would be beneficial.

This year 6 teacher role is full time and would suit someone who wants to make a difference and narrow the attainment gap. Due to the time of year this year 6 teacher must have SATs experience.

You must have excellent knowledge of the KS2 Curriculum and should be able to demonstrate a proven success teaching this year group. The ability to plan and deliver fun and engaging lessons is a must. The school require their new year 6 teacher to become fully immersed in school life and become an integral part of the team.

You must have QTS and experience in KS2 to be qualified for teach Year 6 teacher role. You must also have a DBS on the Update Service.
