About the Role:
Aspire People are working with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Telford to recruit a Year 6 Teacher for a full-time, permanent position starting September 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity to teach and inspire children at a pivotal stage in their education, helping them build confidence, resilience, and a love of learning as they prepare for secondary school.

As a Year 6 Teacher, you will lead a dynamic classroom, delivering engaging lessons, supporting pupils'' academic and personal development, and contributing to a positive and inclusive school culture. You will work alongside a collaborative and friendly staff team dedicated to ensuring every child achieves their potential.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, teach, and assess high-quality lessons in line with the Year 6 curriculum.

Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment.

Monitor pupils'' progress, providing targeted support to ensure all learners succeed.

Support pupils'' social, emotional, and academic development, preparing them for the transition to secondary school.

Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to whole-school initiatives.

Maintain strong communication with parents and carers to support children''s learning and wellbeing.

Person Specification:

Qualified Teacher Status (ETCS welcome)

Passion for teaching and inspiring children in Year 6

Strong knowledge of the Year 6 curriculum and Key Stage 2 pedagogy

Excellent classroom management and communication skills

Collaborative, proactive, and committed to professional development
