If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you!Tradewind Recruitment is working closely with a well-established primary school in the Cambridge (CB25) area to recruit a dedicated Year 6 Teacher for a long-term role starting after Easter and continuing until the end of the academic year.About the RoleYou will be working as a Year 6 class teacher, taking full responsibility for planning, preparation, and assessment of pupil progress. As SATs approach, you will also play a key role in preparing students for their end-of-year assessments. This is a full-time teaching role, with one dedicated PPA day per week, where Year 6 teachers work collaboratively to plan and prepare lessons. This supports creativity, consistency, and strong team working across the year group. You will be expected to inspire and support pupils, ensuring they are engaged, motivated, and learning in a safe and positive environment.About the SchoolThe school is a well-established, Good Ofsted-rated primary school with a strong community ethos. There is a supportive SLT and clear behaviour management systems in place to help teachers focus on teaching and learning.
