This role is ideal for an experienced teacher or a confident ECT looking for flexible working arrangements. The successful candidate will work closely with the Year 6 team to ensure continuity, high standards of teaching, and strong preparation for Key Stage 2 SATs and transition to secondary school.Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum. Contribute to effective preparation for KS2 SATs. Maintain high expectations for pupil progress, attainment and behaviour. Support pupils social, emotional and personal development. Communicate effectively with parents and carers when required. The Ideal Candidate Will: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Have experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (Year 6 experience desirable). Demonstrate strong subject knowledge, particularly in English and Mathematics. Have a clear understanding of assessment and statutory requirements at the end of KS2.
