Are you a qualified teacher with experience working in upper KS2 and looking for your next role?

We are currently looking for a confident and dedicated Year 6 Teacher to join a primary school in Gravesend from January on a full-time basis.

This position would suit a teacher who enjoys creating an engaging classroom, has high expectations of pupils and is confident taking full ownership of their class.

• Leading a Year 6 class on a full-time basis

• Planning and delivering engaging lessons across the curriculum

• Taking responsibility for planning, assessment and marking

• Monitoring pupil progress and identifying areas for development

• Supporting pupils as they prepare for secondary school

• Creating a positive, structured and inclusive classroom

• Working closely with colleagues, parents and the wider school team

• QTS - essential

• Previous primary teaching experience, ideally within Year 6

• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

• Excellent organisation and communication

• Confidence working independently and taking responsibility for a class

• A current DBS, or willingness to apply for a new one

• A driving licence is preferred
