Year 6 Primary Teacher - Long-Term Maternity CoverFull-Time September Start Aspire PeopleAspire People are recruiting for an experienced and motivated Year 6 Teacher to join a primary school on a long-term maternity cover basis from September.The school is seeking a confident Upper KS2 teacher with strong experience preparing pupils for SATs and supporting children through their final year of primary education. This role requires a teacher who can maintain high expectations, drive pupil attainment, and create a focused yet supportive classroom environment.The successful candidate will take on full classroom responsibilities and work closely with the senior leadership team to support pupil progress throughout the academic year. Interviews are taking place immediately, with the potential opportunity to spend time in school before the summer break.The Role: Full teaching responsibility within a Year 6 classroom Planning and delivering engaging SATs-focused lessons Preparing pupils for end-of-key-stage assessments and secondary transition Supporting pupils academically and emotionally during a key stage of learning Tracking attainment and implementing targeted intervention support Maintaining high classroom expectations and positive behaviour managementThe Ideal Candidate Will: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Have recent experience teaching Year 6 or Upper KS2 Be confident supporting SATs preparation and pupil progress Have excellent behaviour management and classroom ..... full job details .....
