SANZA Teaching Agency are delighted to be supporting a supportive and welcoming independent primary school in the London Borough of Islington in their search for a Year 6 Class Teacher to cover a full academic year maternity leave from September 2026 to July 2027.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly and motivated Year 6 class within a school that prides itself on its inclusive ethos, strong leadership, and collaborative staff team.

The school are seeking a dynamic, positive, and experienced Primary Teacher who can deliver engaging lessons, support pupils through their final year of primary education, and help prepare them confidently for transition to secondary school.

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold QTS and have experience teaching in Upper Key Stage 2

• Demonstrate strong classroom management and behaviour strategies

• Be confident in delivering the Year 6 curriculum and SATs preparation

• Bring energy, creativity, and a nurturing approach to the classroom

• Be committed to supporting pupil progress and wellbeing
