Year 5/6 Class Teacher

Desian Education is currently partnering with a school in Wigan to recruit a year 5/6 class teacher for the summer term.The post is initially for the summer term but could be extended in to the 2026/27 Academic year.We are welcoming applications from ECTs and experienced teachers.Your New Role:You will be working a in a large single form entry primary school in Wigan alongside an experience teaching and support team who work hard to create an environment where all children can achieve their goals. As a year 5/6 class teacher you will have full teaching responsibilities which will include:Plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons in line with the KS2 national curriculum.Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes emotional well-being and academic progress.Support children preparing for KS2 SATsWork collaboratively with experienced TA''s and the wider school team to ensure consistent support for pupils.Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting strategies as needed.Why Choose Desian Education?Our specialist consultants understand the education sector inside out and work with the largest network of schools in the region.
