Full-Time - MPS-UPS - September 2026 till July 2027 - Maternity Cover - Temp
Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for a Year 5 Teacher for a full-time Maternity Cover from September 2026, running till the end of the academic year. This is a full-time role at a Primary School in Chatham and shortlisting is happening over the coming weeks.
I am looking to speak to both ECTs and experienced teachers alike, as shortlisting and interviews are happening this term, ready for a September start.
The Role
- Planning and delivering the Year 5 Curriculum.
- Responsibility for ensuring your cohort is supported and challenged appropriately with the work set.
- Managing behaviour within the classroom effectively
- Liaising with Parents/Guardians on the progress and/or potential development areas of students
Requirements
- Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) in the UK
- Experience as a Year 5 Teacher, or experience teaching KS2 would be highly desirable but not essential.
- Hold an enhanced DBS (DBS on the update service is highly desirable)
- Have right to work in the UK
