We are currently seeking a dedicated Year 5 SEND Teacher to join a welcoming mainstream primary school in Druid''s Heath, starting ASAP on an ongoing basis. The Year 5 class has a high level of additional needs and requires a second teacher to provide targeted, specialist support. There is already an experienced class teacher leading the class, so your role will be specifically focused on supporting pupils with additional needs and ensuring they are able to access learning and thrive in the classroom. The pupils have a range of additional needs, including:Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)ADHDChallenging behaviourLearning difficulties and additional learning needsSocial, emotional and communication needsAbout the Role You will work closely alongside the existing class teacher and wider school team to provide personalised support to pupils with SEND.
