Year 5 Primary Teacher

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 5 Primary Teacher to join a welcoming mainstream primary school in Basildon, Essex from September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate primary teacher to join a supportive school community and deliver engaging, purposeful learning to a Year 5 class. The successful candidate will be committed to helping pupils make strong academic progress while developing their confidence, independence, and enthusiasm for learning. You will be: Teaching a Year 5 class within a mainstream primary school setting Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum Differentiating learning to meet the needs and abilities of all pupils Assessing and monitoring pupil progress and adapting teaching accordingly Creating a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment Supporting pupils'' academic, social, and emotional development Building positive relationships with pupils and encouraging their confidence and independence Working collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues, and the wider school team Communicating effectively with parents and carers regarding pupil progress and wellbeing Contributing to the wider life of the school and participating in school activities and events The successful candidate will: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Have experience teaching within a primary school setting, ideally with experience teaching Year 5 Have a strong understanding of the ..... full job details .....
