About the role and school

Teach Plus is working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Southall, Ealing, to recruit a dedicated KS2 Teacher for a Year 5 class from January 2027. Job Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons across the Year 5 curriculum, ensuring learning objectives meet the needs and abilities of all pupils.

• Assess, monitor and record pupil progress, using assessment data to inform planning and identify areas for development.

• Establish and maintain a positive classroom environment that promotes good behaviour, inclusion, independence and a love of learning.

• Support pupils with a range of abilities and additional learning needs, adapting teaching strategies to ensure all children can access the curriculum.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues, teaching assistants and the senior leadership team to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.

• Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding pupil progress, achievement and wellbeing, contributing to a supportive school community.

Qualifications/Experience

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant qualification

• Experience as a KS2 Teacher or in a similar role

• Strong subject/curriculum knowledge relevant to the role

• Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service

• Right to work in the UK
