Your new companyDesian Education are proud to be working in partnership with a two-form entry primary school in Salford with a fantastic reputation and is easily accessible via public transport as they require an experience and reliable teaching assistant to join the year 4 class on a full-time temporary basis.This is an extremely rewarding position where you will join the school on a long-term temporary basis and play an integral role in the emotional well-being and education of a pupil within the year 4 class. This position has an immediate start available and subject to funding will last the remainder of the academic year.Your new roleAs a teaching assistant within this school you will be supporting a year 4 pupil with SEMH on a 1:1 basis that is in the main classroom. You pupil has been subject to significant trauma so the ability to build a strong constructive relationship and use a trauma-informed approach is imperative. You will:Support pupils social, emotional and well-being developmentProviding self-esteem, emotional awareness and coping strategies/supportBuild strong constructive relationships with pupils to promote well-being and attendanceWorking in partnership with the SENCOMaintain accurate pupil records to track progress and emotional developmentIntegrate into new pupil groupsImplement an array of positive behaviour strategiesWhat you need to succeedFull "Right to Work" in the UKExperience supporting SEMH and a strong understanding of behaviours and emotional ..... full job details .....
