      <description>Location: Sunderland | Salary: &amp;pound;14.24 - &amp;pound;15/hour | Type: Contract | We are currently recruiting for a  full-time Teaching Assistant  to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in  Sunderland , working specifically within a  Year 4 class .  This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and is looking to make a positive difference to their learning, confidence and development.  The Role  As a Year 4 Teaching Assistant, you will:    Work closely with the class teacher to support the  Year 4 class .   Provide support to pupils during lessons and classroom activities.   Work with individual pupils and small groups where additional support is required.   Help deliver  catch-up activities and targeted interventions .   Support children with their reading, writing, maths and wider learning.   Encourage pupils to become more confident and independent learners.
