About the role and school

Teach Plus is working with a welcoming primary school in Hounslow to recruit a dedicated KS2 Teacher for a part-time position starting in November 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate Key Stage 2 Teacher to join a supportive school environment, deliver engaging lessons and make a positive impact on pupils'' academic progress and personal development. Working three days per week, Wednesday to Friday. The role is to share a Year 4 Class, sharing classroom responsibilities such as planning, preparation and assessments with the partner teacher. The successful KS2 Teacher will play an important role in providing high-quality teaching, promoting pupil engagement and supporting children to achieve their full potential.

Job Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons across the Key Stage 2 curriculum to meet the needs of pupils with varying abilities.

• Assess, monitor and record pupil progress, using assessment information to inform planning and support academic development.

• Establish and maintain a positive classroom environment that promotes effective learning, good behaviour and pupil confidence.

• Adapt teaching strategies and resources to support pupils with additional learning needs and ensure inclusive classroom practice.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues, teaching assistants and school leaders to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.

• Contribute to pupils'' wider development by encouraging independence, resilience, positive relationships and a strong attitude towards learning.

Qualifications/Experience

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant qualification

• Experience as a KS2 Teacher or in a similar role

• Strong subject/curriculum knowledge relevant to the role

• Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service

• Right to work in the UK
