Year 4 Class Teacher - Maternity Cover (Full Time)
Location: Braintree, Essex
Salary: MPS/UPS (depending on experience)
Start Date: After Easter (or sooner if available)

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 4 Class Teacher to join our successful and supportive school community in Braintree. This is a full-time maternity cover position, starting after the Easter break or sooner if possible.

The Role

The successful candidate will:

• Take responsibility for a Year 4 class, delivering engaging and well-structured lessons.

• Plan, prepare, and assess work in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum.

• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child can succeed.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.

• Contribute positively to the wider life of the school.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

• Has strong classroom management and organisational skills.

• Is passionate about inspiring children and supporting their progress.

• Works well as part of a team and contributes positively to the school community.

• Is committed to high standards of teaching and learning.
