About the Role:
Aspire People are working with a friendly and supportive primary school in Shrewsbury to recruit a Year 4 Teacher for a full-time, permanent position starting September 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire and guide children in a key stage of their learning, helping them develop confidence, independence, and a lifelong love of learning.

As a Year 4 Teacher, you will deliver high-quality, engaging lessons, support children''s personal and academic growth, and contribute to a positive and inclusive school culture. You will be part of a collaborative staff team dedicated to providing every pupil with the best possible education.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons in line with the Year 4 curriculum.

Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment.

Monitor pupils'' progress and adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners.

Support pupils'' social, emotional, and academic development.

Work collaboratively with colleagues to improve teaching strategies and contribute to whole-school initiatives.

Communicate effectively with parents and carers to support children''s learning and wellbeing.

Person Specification:

Qualified Teacher Status (ETCS welcome)

Passionate about teaching and inspiring children in Year 4

Strong understanding of the Year 4 curriculum and Key Stage 2 pedagogy

Excellent classroom management and communication skills

Collaborative, proactive, and committed to professional development
