We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Key Stage 2 (Year 4) Class Teacher to join our school. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to make a significant impact on the learning and development of primary school students. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, creating an engaging learning environment, and fostering a positive atmosphere that encourages students to achieve their full potential. Planning is already in place and the school is looking for a teacher to commit to the delivery of lessons.

This is a temporary job ideally ASAP from April 2026 initially until the end of the academic year. This would be a full-time role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver effective lessons that meet the national curriculum guidelines for Year 4
• Create a stimulating and supportive classroom environment.
• Assess and monitor students'' progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents.
• Develop and implement individualized learning plans for students with specific educational needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders to support students'' overall development.
• Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Proven experience teaching Key Stage 2
• Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and assessment methods.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and a collaborative working style.
