Year 4 Class Teacher

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality, creative lessons in line with the National Curriculum for Key Stage 2

• Assess, track, and report on pupil progress, using this data to inform future planning and interventions

• Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment where children feel safe and excited to learn

• Establish high expectations for behaviour, learning and personal development

• Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and parents to ensure the best outcomes for every child

• Contribute to the wider life of the school through clubs, trips and enrichment activities

• Be committed to ongoing professional development and reflective practice

About You:
We are looking for someone who:

• Is a qualified teacher (QTS required)

• Has experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (ideally Year 4, but not essential)

• Demonstrates strong classroom management and an inclusive approach to learning

• Is a confident communicator and team player

• Has a thorough understanding of the KS2 curriculum and effective assessment practices

• Is passionate about education and committed to every child''s progress and well-being
