Supply Desk is seeking a skilled and dedicated Year 3 primary school teacher for a position at a welcoming and well-regarded school in the Aylesbury area. The school is looking for a qualified and experienced teacher with a proven record of success in the classroom. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching, committed to pupil development and wellbeing, and serve as an inspiring role modelandmdash;motivating young minds to be ambitious, curious, and prepared for the world around them.



About the Role:


  • Develop and prepare engaging teaching materials and learning resources tailored to Key Stage 2.
  • Organise and maintain a well-structured, stimulating, and supportive classroom environment.
  • Showcase and celebrate pupilsandrsquo; work through effective classroom displays, and contribute to wider school displays in shared areas such as corridors and the hall.
  • Plan and deliver lessons, including targeted group work to support individual learning needs.
  • Assess and mark studentsandrsquo; work, and communicate regularly with parents and carers regarding pupil progress and development.
  • Oversee and coordinate the work of teaching assistants to ensure effective classroom support and learning outcomes.

  • Foster a sense of ownership in pupils over their own learning, encouraging the development of independent, lifelong learning skills.

  • Support the development of pupilsandrsquo; self-esteem, emotional intelligence, and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrate secure subject knowledge and a thorough understanding of the curriculum.
  • Use assessment effectively to inform planning, track progress, and support pupil achievement.
  • Implement consistent and effective behaviour management strategies to maintain a safe and productive learning environment.
