A highly regarded primary school in Basingstoke is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Year 3 Teacher to join its Key Stage 2 team from September 2026. The Role

As a Year 3 Teacher, you will plan and deliver high-quality lessons that inspire curiosity, creativity, and confidence. The school is looking for a Year 3 Teacher who can establish strong relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues while maintaining high expectations for learning and behaviour.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and challenging lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum
• Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet individual needs
• Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment
• Encourage pupils'' personal, social, and academic development
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff to achieve the best outcomes

About You

The ideal Year 3 Teacher will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a PGCE
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 2, although ECT applications are welcomed
• Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• A genuine commitment to helping every child succeed
