Year 3 SEN Teaching Assistant (SEMH Support)Location: HaringeySalary: £95-£110 per day (dependent on experience)Start Date: September 2026Contract: Long-term, full-timeAbout the RoleLong Term Futures are working with a supportive and inclusive primary school in Haringey to appoint a Year 3 SEN Teaching Assistant to support a child with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. This is a rewarding long-term role where you will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to provide consistent, tailored support that helps the child engage positively with learning and school life.Key responsibilities include:Providing 1:1 support for a pupil with SEMH needsBuilding a strong, trusting relationship to support emotional regulationImplementing behaviour support strategies and routinesSupporting access to the curriculum through differentiated approachesWorking closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and external professionalsPromoting a safe, calm, and inclusive learning environmentAbout the SchoolThis is a welcoming and community-focused primary school in Haringey with a strong commitment to inclusion and pupil wellbeing.
