Year 2/3 Class Teacher

Are you an enthusiastic and experienced Year 2 or Year 3 Teacher?Looking for a temporary long-term opportunity in a new school after the October half-term break?Academics are currently supporting a primary school (located in Newcastle-under-Lyme) that is looking for a mixed class Year 2 and Year 3 Teacher to cover initially for 12 weeks.Our partnership school is well-known for its nurtured and encouraging ethos. They inspire their learners to have a strong sense of belonging and their curriculum is wide-ranging, but balanced. The key part of this school''s success is its efficacious relationship with all stakeholders and their interminable support.To be considered for this particular teaching role you MUST:Have UK Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) and excellent knowledge of both the upper Key Stage 1 curriculum and lower Key Stage 2 curriculum.Be able to hold full class responsibilities and to be able to plan and deliver well-structured and engaging lessons.Be confident working with mixed age/year groups. Have strong behaviour management skills.Promote happiness, self-reliance, and to be able to encourage and motivate positive interactions.Be able to work effectively as part of a team.Hold a current Enhanced DBS that is registered with the Update Service, or you will be prepared to apply for a new DBS with ourselves (cost applied).Please be aware that your daily rate will be dependent upon experience, prior qualifications, training, and the client rate that is currently ..... full job details .....
