Year 2 Teaching Assistant

Applebough Education-is delighted to be working in partnership with an-Ofsted-rated Good primary school in Cradley-to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic-Year 2 Teaching Assistant-to join their team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant who has a strong understanding of-Key Stage 1-and a genuine passion for supporting children to thrive in their learning and development.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience working within-Key Stage 1, ideally in Year 2.

• A good understanding of the-KS1 curriculum-and the needs of young learners.

• Strong-phonics knowledge, with experience of-Little Wandle-highly desirable.

• Experience supporting children with-SEND-and adapting learning to meet individual needs.

• A good understanding of-EHCPs-and how to support pupils in working towards their individual targets.

• The ability to work effectively with the class teacher and wider school team.

• A calm, nurturing and patient approach.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• A commitment to creating an inclusive and positive learning environment.
