Spencer Clarke Group are working with a welcoming primary school in Wallasey who are seeking a dedicated Year 2 Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher to take on a Key Stage 1 class, supporting pupils through a crucial stage in their development, including preparation for end of Key Stage 1 expectations. The successful candidate will take on full classroom responsibilities and contribute to a positive and structured learning environment.

• Take full responsibility for a Year 2 class.
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 curriculum.
• Support pupils'' progress in reading, writing and maths.
• Assess and monitor pupil attainment, adapting teaching where required.
• Create a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment.
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and school staff.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally Year 2.
• Strong knowledge of phonics and early learning strategies.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• A proactive, organised and adaptable approach to teaching.
