Year 2 Teacher - Full Time Lancaster Area Start Date: October Half Term 2026 Full Time Paid to Teacher Pay Scale Veritas Education are working in partnership with a local primary school in the Lancaster area to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher to join their team from October Half Term. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Key Stage 1 practitioner to take on a full-time teaching role within a nurturing school environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for a Year 2 class and will play a key role in supporting pupils through this important stage of their primary education. The Role Full-time class teacher responsibility for a Year 2 class Planning, preparing and delivering engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum Assessing, tracking and monitoring pupil progress Creating a stimulating and inclusive learning environment Working collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and parents Maintaining high expectations of behaviour, attainment and personal development The Successful Candidate Will: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Have recent experience teaching within Key Stage 1 Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills Have a sound understanding of the Year 2 curriculum and assessment requirements Be committed to delivering high-quality teaching and learning Be approachable, professional and able to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families What We Offer Pay in line with the ..... full job details .....
