Full-Time Year 2 Teacher - WorksopLocation: Worksop, NottinghamshireStart Date: ASAPDuration: Until the end of the academic yearContract: Full-timePay: Competitive daily rate, dependent on experienceTradewind Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Qualified Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Worksop, teaching a Year 2 class on a full-time basis from ASAP until the summer.This is an excellent opportunity for a confident teacher who has a strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum, enjoys creating engaging lessons and is confident managing behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment.The RoleAs the Year 2 Class Teacher, you will be responsible for:Planning and delivering engaging lessons across the KS1 curriculum.Teaching a Year 2 class on a full-time basis.Supporting pupils to make strong academic and personal progress.Establishing positive relationships with pupils and creating a calm, purposeful classroom.Managing behaviour confidently and consistently in line with school expectations.Assessing pupils'' progress and adapting teaching accordingly.Working collaboratively with support staff and other members of the school team.Contributing positively to the wider life of the school.About YouThe successful candidate will:Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).Have recent and relevant experience teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally Year 2.Have a strong knowledge of the KS1 National Curriculum.Be confident managing classroom ..... full job details .....
