What You''ll Be Responsible For:
Planning and delivering creative and engaging lessons in line with the Year 2 curriculum
Preparing pupils for KS1 SATs with care and confidence, focusing on both academic progress and wellbeing
Supporting early literacy and numeracy, including effective phonics teaching (e.g. Read Write Inc, Letters and Sounds)
Creating a warm, structured and inclusive classroom where every child feels safe and valued
Working collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues, and parents to meet individual needs
Tracking and assessing pupil progress to inform next steps in learning
Taking part in school life, enrichment activities, and contributing to a strong team culture
Who We''re Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching in Key Stage 1, ideally in Year 2
