Year 2 Teacher - Preston Full Time

REED/LTA are seeking a dedicated Year 2 Teacher to join a vibrant primary school in Preston. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for Key Stage 1 (KS1) education, looking to make a significant impact in the early stages of children''s education. The position is available to start as soon as possible and will continue until the end of the summer term.Day-to-day of the role:Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and educational lessons that cater to the needs of Year 2 students.Assess and record students'' progress, preparing them for the transition to the next year level.Create a nurturing and safe learning environment that encourages curiosity and active participation.Implement classroom activities that promote social and academic growth.Collaborate with other teaching staff to enhance the educational environment and share effective teaching strategies.Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children''s progress and behaviour.Required Skills and Qualifications:Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a preference for KS1 specialisation.Proven experience as a Year 2 Teacher or similar role.Strong understanding of the national curriculum and KS1 requirements.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to engage children and manage diverse learning needs.Enthusiastic and positive attitude towards teaching.Benefits:Supportive and inclusive school environment.Opportunities for professional development.Competitive salary based on experience.To ..... full job details .....
