Year 2 Teacher Location: Wednesbury WS10 Daily Rate: (Apply online only) Days: Monday to Friday (Term Time Only) Start Date: 12/10/2026 Contract: Long-Term temporary Are you an experienced Year 2 Teacher with a passion for inclusive education? Long Term Futures is recruiting a qualified, experienced Year 2 Teacher for a welcoming academy in Wednesbury (WS10). The class includes children with a range of emotional, social and learning needs. Behaviour is not disruptive, but several pupils require additional support with emotional regulation to access learning. The academy follows an inclusive, trauma-responsive approach and is looking for a confident teacher who can create a calm, structured and nurturing classroom. In this role, you will:Plan and deliver engaging Year 2 lessons in line with the National Curriculum.Create a calm, safe and inclusive classroom where every pupil feels valued.Use trauma-informed teaching strategies to support vulnerable learners.Support pupils with emotional regulation and readiness to learn.Implement visual timetables, predictable routines and clear transitions.Differentiate and scaffold learning for pupils with SEND and additional needs.Adapt teaching to meet varying cognitive, social and emotional needs without lowering expectations.Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils and their families.Monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.Work closely with teaching assistants, the SENCO and wider school ..... full job details .....
