Year 2 Teacher (Education and Training): WalsallWe are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher to work in a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Walsall. This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed educator who is passionate about making a positive impact on children''s learning and development in Key Stage 1.This Year 2 Teacher role is full-time and long-term, with the potential for a permanent position. You''ll be joining a supportive school environment focused on high standards, creativity in the classroom, and nurturing young learners as they progress through the curriculum.Responsibilities:Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 curriculum.Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress to ensure all learners achieve their potential.Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to promote pupil development.Manage behaviour positively, promoting mutual respect and high expectations.Requirements:Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.Experience teaching in Key Stage 1, ideally in Year 2.A strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and assessment frameworks.Excellent classroom management and communication skills.A commitment to providing high-quality education and supporting pupil wellbeing.An enhanced DBS check (we can support with this if needed).As a Year 2 Teacher in Walsall, you''ll be part of a school community ..... full job details .....
