Year 2 Teacher

Academics in Leeds are recruiting a year 2 teacher for one of our schools based in North Leeds- the position will be commencing after May half term, until Christmas 2026 with a possibility for an extension into 2027.

Enthusiastic and motivated ECT''s will also be considered for this year 2 teacher position.

The school is looking for a dedicated year 2 teacher with key stage 1 experience.

This school has a very supportive SLT and regular provide CPD for all staff.

The ideal year 2 teacher will have the ability to engage pupils with differentiated and creative lessons to suit all abilities.

• Educated to degree level and QTS
• DBS on the update service
• A high passion for teaching and working with children who have excellent expectations for attainment and behaviour
• Self-motivated and determined to do well
• Year 2 experience
• Secure understanding of differentiation to challenge children of all abilities
