Year 2 Teaching Assistant ABOUT THE SCHOOL Prospero Teaching is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 2 Teaching Assistant for a welcoming three form-entry primary school in Norbury, Croydon. This outstanding primary school is committed to providing a nurturing and engaging learning environment where all pupils are encouraged to achieve their full potential. The successful Year 2 Teaching Assistant will work closely with the Year 2 class teacher, supporting pupils in their learning and development, helping to deliver engaging lessons, and contributing to a positive classroom environment. The position is open to experienced Teaching Assistants, Learning Support Assistants, and individuals with relevant experience working with primary-aged children. CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS Location - Norbury, Croydon Position - Year 2 Teaching Assistant Type of work - Supporting the class teacher with the delivery of lessons, working with individual pupils and small groups, assisting with classroom activities, and helping to promote positive learning outcomes Position start date - September 2026 Full time/part time - Full time Rate of pay - GBP100 - GBP115 per day (depending on experience) Hours - 8:30am - 3:45pm, Monday to Friday (term time only) EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, Classroom Assistant, or in a similar role within a primary school setting Experience supporting children in Key Stage ..... full job details .....
